Main functions

FSUE "Radio Frequency Center of the South Federal District" performs the following functions:
1. Organization and control the emissions of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices (hereinafter - the radio control).
2. Ensuring proper use of radio frequencies or radio frequency channels, radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
3. Ensuring operational readiness of radio frequency spectrum allocated for user’s radio-electronic equipment.
4. Calculations of electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic equipment, including foreign radio electronic equipment, with the radio electronic equipment of the Russian Federation.
5. Developing plans for the frequency-territorial distribution of radio-electronic equipment.
6. Carrying out of examination the possibility of using declared radio electronic equipment and their electromagnetic compatibility with existing and planning radio electronic equipment, as well as registration conclusions of the results of examination.
7. Execution of works for measuring the technical parameters of radiation of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
8. Registration radio frequency applications to the applicants for allocation of frequency bands for import into the territory of the Russian Federation radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
9. Carrying out of examination the radio electronic equipment imported into the territory of the Russian Federation for various purposes for the absence (or presence) radio transmitters in their structure.
10. Execution of works in consultation with relevant agencies and organizations planned radio frequency assignments or radio frequency channels for radio electronic devices and their locations.
11. Execution of works on formation of identification call signs in procedure and in cases established by the Radio Regulations of International Telecommunication Union.
12. Examination of technical tasks to develop radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices and technical conditions for their production in terms of ensuring compliance with the EMC.
13. Organizing and conducting the tests, including for the purpose of certification of products - sources of interference, communication facilities, by the parameters of electromagnetic compatibility, design the test report, including the protocol of certification tests.
15. Execution of works by the definition the coordinates of geodetic points and points of the earth's surface at the installation of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
16. Execution of works by measuring the height of the suspension of radio electronic equipment's antennas.
17. Confirmation the actual location and the actual characteristics of radiation (reception) of radio electronic equipment.
18. Measurements of radiation parameters of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices to assess compliance with sanitary norms.
19. Participation in the creation and keeping a single automated system for collecting, processing, recording and storing data on the frequency assignment or radio frequency channels for radio electronic equipment and call identification signs, as well as the operation of this system in the South and the North Caucasus federal Area.
20. Organization and carrying out of scientific and technological research, certification and experimental studies in the use of radio frequencies or radio frequency channels, radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
21. Organization and execution of work on the measurement of electromagnetic fields to determine the service areas of radio electronic equipment.
22. Organization and execution of work by the instrumental assessment of parameters of electromagnetic radiation fields of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices.
23. Organization and testing in the placements of radio electronic equipment and (or) high frequency devices for their electromagnetic compatibility (field tests).
24. Carrying out of works to research new radio frequency channels and the development of radio frequency spectrum and orbital positions of satellites for television and radio broadcasting.
